Pattern: Dew Drop
In the square I worked up, I added a 12 st border to each side of the pattern with the first st being slipped and the last stitch being purled on every row.

Border = 12 sts as described above
CO 40
Pattern: Border, pattern rows 1-12, Border
Repeat pattern rows 4 times, then rows 1 - 10 once
BO purlwise
FIX SQUARE:
Border should be 16 sts on each side with the 4 sts before and after the 1st slipped and last purled being in garter stitch. So a RS would read SL1, K4, P11, pattern, P11, K4, P1. Obviously there is enough filler space to either do two dew drops side by side or work in a cable on each side of a single column of dew drops.

Border pattern (16sts), Pattern row 3-12 (16sts), Border (16sts) (12 rows)
Continue working pattern rows 1-12 three times through completely (48 rows)
Work rows 1-10 of pattern once (58 rows)
