Dew Drop Sampler Afghan Stitch

Dew Drop
[40 x 58; way too narrow. Redo =  48 x 60]

Pattern: Dew Drop

In the square I worked up, I added a 12 st border to each side of the pattern with the first st being slipped and the last stitch being purled on every row.

This square =

Purl side is RS
Border = 12 sts as described above

CO 40
Pattern:  Border, pattern rows 1-12, Border
Repeat pattern rows 4 times, then rows 1 - 10 once
BO purlwise

FIX SQUARE:

Border should be 16 sts on each side with the 4 sts before and after the 1st slipped and last purled being in garter stitch. So a RS would read SL1, K4, P11, pattern, P11, K4, P1. Obviously there is enough filler space to either do two dew drops side by side or work in a cable on each side of  a single column of dew drops.
