Since I wanted the pattern to be more centered I wrote up a chart to follow. So follow the chart.

The first stitch is slipped purlwise and the last st is purled of every row. These two sts are not shown in the chart above.

Rows 1-16

Odd Rows (RS) - Follow the chart above

Even rows - Knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches as they face you

 Repeat the 16 rows of the pattern a totoal of 3 times, then work rows 1-4 once
