A quick blog about "dirt". DWD went off without much of a hitch... at least that's what it appeared to be from the sidelines. I hung all day at the start/finish area and helped out as much as I could which wasn't much more than calling out that an ultra runner was heading in to the finish line.

Our team, "Hunting Tail" looked absolutely fabulous even though we didn't win anything for our costumes! NOTHING. I'm still having a hard time believing that one. Guess the judge didn't like Katie... she did kinda stick her butt out at the judge in an overly sassy way to demonstrate the "functional tail" that I created for her deer costume. Oh well, there's always next year. The guys on the team could use some camouflage.
