- Slip the first stitch purlwise with yarn in front (2 loops are acting as one)
- work across to last stitch
- Knit the last stitch (2 loops are acting as one)
When doing this though, make sure that as you knit that last stitch that the yarn is coming up on the right needle in the same alternating color pattern. In other words if your piece is being worked in red and white and the last purl stitch worked was red then the the 2 loops that you add to the right needle need to come up white then red (the red being the closest to the end of the needle).
